GRAND OPENING!!!!!!

New Study: Effect of aromatherapy on sleep quality of adults and elderly people: A systematic literature review and meta-analysis

In a study published in the Complementary Therapies in Medicine in August 2021, researchers did a literature review on the effect Aromatherapy had on sleep. The results were extremely positive. The highlights are:

•: The combined overall effect size of sleep quality of 30 studies was moderate, which was statistically significant.
•: The effect size of stress, pain, anxiety, depression, and fatigue decreased significantly after aromatherapy.
•: Our research findings may be used as to create a standard protocol in future interventions to improve sleep quality.

This give us great hope that these studies will continue with what we already know!

Fall Classes Available!

We finally have all the fall classes up!
We have listened to you and have added the following new classes besides what we already had:
*Animal Aromatherapy
*Lip Balm Making
*Advanced Aromatic Blending and Chemistry

Some have asked about Private Parties and Groups. We have instilled the following new protocols and we thank you for your patience. Groups of 6 that are all together will not be placed with anyone but your group. The store will continue to be open, but you will have a dedicated teacher just to your group. No strangers will be added on. This needs to be registered and paid for all at the same time.

Groups of 9 will be able to have the store shut down. You will also be able to bring your own food and beverages. This also needs to be registered and paid for at the same time.

All those that attend the class also receive a 10% discount on all product the day of the class.

Product Spotlight: Adren-All

The past few months have been hard on some of us here at Faeve. Starting up the company, heading through off season, employee issues, you get the drift....Meredith and some members of her team were ...TIRED.

A few of us decided that we may be experiencing possible adrenal burnout. So we tried this product.

According to Ortho-Molecular:

"Stress is defined as any disturbance–extreme cold or heat, psychological stress, sleep deprivation, work overload, physical trauma, as well as toxic exposure, that can trigger the stress response. The body’s stress response system is comprised of the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis. Prolonged stress triggers the HPA axis and consists of three stages: stage 1: alarm; stage 2: resistance; and stage 3: exhaustion. The initial, short-lived phase (the alarm phase) is the body’s normal fight-or-flight response to danger which is characterized by elevated cortisol levels. Christopher Hobbs's Medicinal Mushrooms

Education and research is always promoted at Faeve. Our employees have full access to Herbal medicine textbooks, Aromatherapy books, even some of Meredith's medical textbooks. This recently become a staff favorite.

This little book was published in 2020, so all the information in there is current. There is so much information on new studies that have come out for different disease4s, symptoms and the like. It is well researched, easy to read and even easier to find information through the index. The greatest part of this book is that it can also read like a regular book where you start at page 1 and finish.

Christopher Hobbs is a world famous herbalist. This book is the cream of the crop. If you have any interest in medicinal mushrooms, this is where it's at.

Holiday Party?

Did you know that we will be hosting holiday parties? This will be different than the closing of the store for the classes. We have been asked to do a group party at the store and everyone can walk home with a product or two from the blending bar. This would be a little more socialized than the classes. We have also brought our Aromatherapy parties to homes. We bring our oils, our products and our staff and create the blending bar in your home! This is a unique idea for those looking for something different to do with their girlfriends this year.
